LOST FOR WORDS: GAME CARD & PACKAGING ILLUSTRATIONS
A peek INTO CARD DECK AND PACKAGING ILLUSTRATION
I'm excited to share my collaboration with Pink Tiger Games on the artwork for Lost for Words, a card game designed to help players express emotions that are often difficult to put into words. With over 300 words from more than 70 languages, Lost for Words introduces people to unique expressions that deepen relationships and human connection.
Creating the illustrations for this card deck was an opportunity to combine my passion for lettering and illustrated icons. When working with Pink Tiger Games, I wanted to make sure that each card felt vibrant, inviting, and memorable—an extension of the game’s powerful mission. I chose a lively palette and added playful, energetic touches to the cards, evoking a sense of curiosity and openness.
In crafting each icon, I envisioned that players would pick one up and feel immediately drawn to the word and its meaning. I used organic and geometrical shapes and whimsical accents, and for the packaging, we went with script-style hand-lettering.
Beyond the design, I love how Lost for Words is more than a game—it’s a bridge to meaningful conversations. It's a tool for exploring feelings that we all experience yet sometimes struggle to describe. Whether it's for game nights, team-building, or just a cozy evening of self-reflection, this deck invites people to learn, connect, and grow.
Lost for Words is available on Amazon, Buyolympia, and other retailers, with more details on gameplay and rules on the official site. If you're looking for a way to connect with others on a deeper level, this game might be the perfect addition to your collection!
